Have you ever woken up to the thought of scribbling down your dream because it was simply amazing – only to wake up once again?

Hi! I am Doofus, and I suffer from Sleep Paralysis and Vivid Dreams Syndrome. This means that I see dreams that feel so real, that they can make you question reality. Paralyzed in Dreamland is a collection of some of my vivid dreams – expressed in the form of humorous, yet thought-provoking short stories.

From the best-selling author of Heart Broken Musings and The Things We Do for Love, comes an unputdownable collection of fifteen short stories – based on his actual dreams. The stories are narrated by Doofus; the protagonist, and revolve around various themes like friendship, love, family, religion, career, society, fantasies, and the world at large. Being the literal transcription of the author's dream, each story goes through bizarre twists and turns, providing the reader with an escape from their monotonous reality.

Review:

The book stores 107 pages of vivid imaginary & chilling 15 dream stories. It's a mixed bag of entertaining stories with some thoughtful messages. The plot is riveting as I found myself asking a lot of questions and anticipating what was going to happen next. The setting was fascinating as the story mainly takes place on a entirely different plot. Some of them are intriguing and mysterious.

Author Interview - Russell Gaynor

Exclusive Q/A session with the Author of The Mind of the Man-child,  Russell Gaynor Hello and Welcome everyone!  Today, we have the honour of hosting an author interview with Russell Gaynor. Thank you for joining us, and let's dive into this enriching author interview together! 1. What motivated you to become a writer, and when did you know this was what you wanted to do? The blame falls to my grandmother and her invaluable integrity. Around her, if you couldn’t do a thing, don’t say otherwise. One day, a very young boy wanted to watch Mighty Mouse instead of her preferred black & white movies, and he made the claim he could write better stories with one hand tied behind his back. To her credit, she did NOT tie my hand behind me, but she did provide a stack of pads and a box of pencils before saying, “Prove it!” I was passing the halfway point of the second pad (keep in mind, I was 5 and my words took up three lines!!!) when she picked up the first one and star...
