Free Fall

Big-shot attorney Aariv Abbas is every woman's hunky as sin, successful career, and that man who cares about responsibility and family duty (the kind every South Asian hopes their son becomes when they grow up). Too bad he's such a grumpy asshole with a one-track mind. And thank God he's only in the market for an Indian wife.
Chrissy Smyth is young, brash, full of hopes and dreams, and believes romance should be the only religion people need to have faith in. A chance encounter with a grumpy lawyer has her realizing that romance isn't for everyone. But, she doesn't need to waste her time with nonbelievers like that, no matter how hot they are and how big their biceps may be.
But what happens when her life takes a major misstep and her family's business gets pulled into a serious Russian crime ring? What's a girl to do but look to the only attorney she knows for advice, grumpenhunk and all?And how's the good Indian son supposed to behave when his attraction for a woman who ticks none of the boxes on his life list becomes unmanageable?
A grumpy/sunshine, opposites attract, slight age gap, cultural differences, and ultra steamy romance that will make you laugh, cry, want to punch a pillow, and then do a happy dance.
Review:
Aariv & Chrissy start out in the beginning of the book hating each other. I mean aariv literally struggling with his inner thoughts and his actions and it’s actually quite enjoyable. Aariv is a complete ass whenever it comes to Chrissy. He’s just a flat out jerk. Lol . She pretty much takes his crap but doesn't take it without putting a little sass into her step. She knows exactly how to push his buttons, finding ways to piss him off or irritate him if she can and do it sweetly. These two are completely crazy in the beginning. I really enjoyed their banter the most. The intensity and romance begins when he makes a move on her. It's just so good.
Chrissy's character is very strong willed and hard working. Her attitude and her personality had me immediately loving her. I loved that not only was she a strong willed woman but also a monster in the bedroom. She was independent and free spirited. She's not afraid to ask for what she needs. She was dominant and sexy. I was able to experience them falling in love with each other which in-turn let me fall in love with them and the plot line.
Overall I think this is a great read if you’re looking for something very steamy and light hearted. There’s no denying that the pages ooze intense banter, sizzle and steamy intimate moments and the characters in my opinion are funny, sometimes arrogant, sweet and very sexy. The story ends well but leaves you wanting more. This is a page turner and I highly recommend it to those looking for a fast, fun and scorching read.
About the Author:
Khushi T. Saha is a notorious daydreamer. And ask anyone close to her and they’ll tell you she’s a positive, mushy person, too. Enter in ‘writing romance novels’: what began as self-care to overcome personal trauma, ended up evolving into something much more fulfilling.
Bringing stories of angst, personal growth, and passion (the steamier the better!) with some snarky humor to romantics all around has become a hunger she can’t seem to satiateπ. In fact, once she’s done with a story, there’s already another one a-brewin'.
And because she’s a first-generation Bangladeshi—born and raised in the US—the connection to the motherland is fierce. You’ll find South Asian nuances/ representation purposely sprinkled throughout her novels.
When she's not writing, she's managing her craft business, obsessed with gardening in the spring and summer months, running around with her boys, and binge-watching murder shows/podcasts.
