In the era of instant hook-ups and breakups, traversing down memory lane, experience Law of Jiluk in the backdrop of the lush-green Nilgiris through a cherished read, embellished by a torrent of words, cascading expressions, enchanting analogies, harmonious lingo, astounding thoughts and above all the profound feel of a fourteen year old who narrates his tale of love which became a saga. By the by what is Jiluk? Let the quest begin

Review:

The book will definitely take the readers back to the 90s. The story revolves around the life of our male protagonist Vignesh and the setting takes place in Nilgiri hills.

The story is about Vignesh's adolescence days that are filled with highly relatable experiences and heartfelt emotions. Vignesh's innocent infatuation sets it through humorous encounters and tells us how he overcame everything and how he reacted.

I adored the innocent interactions between the characters, it transports me back to my school days. Lol. I liked the supporting characters as well. I'm now more invested in Vignesh's relationship as he ended this book with a cliff hanger and also I wanted to know more about his friends life.

As right from the beginning the book made me feel close to my heart, it's like the author is having a conversation with us. I liked the narrative as it helps me finish it within a few hours. Everything is really good, making it a refreshing read.

Everything was fine in the company of Subin, Sarath and Gowri - the cricketing rivalry, Sunday feasts, afternoon gupshups, porno fantasy, running after girls down the streets of Wellington, and samosa snacking. But all of a sudden the whole world seemed upside down to Inba. He was no more the same. The cricketer inside him had given the walkover. He no longer had an appetite. He was not all that excited about his friends' world anymore. Even the Kamasutra had no impact on him.

At every instant he felt that he was only physically present, but mentally absent. He tried very hard to find only the truth: that he had been lost in her thoughts. It is she who occupied his world in the beginning, and later became his life. Will he ever find out this truth? Welcome to Law of Jiluk 2, sequel to the bestselling Law of Jiluk - Jiluk is the only inspiration. By the way ... what is Jiluk? The quest continues.

Review:

It is a sequel to the book Law of Jiluk #1 . The book continues the story of Vignesh, right after where he left us in book #1. He's trying to move on with his life but, he is still haunted by her memory.

The novel follows Inba's journey as he tries to understand his emotions, confront his past, and ultimately, move forward. It explores the complexities of love, the pain of loss, friendship and the power of human connection.

Tropes:

Through his experiences, Inba learns valuable lessons about himself, love, and life. Relatable if you grew up without this modern technology especially phones. Friendship, thrill for cricket, their conversation with each other, everything's great, the pace of this book is good.

This book explores a lot about love, loss, and identity. It's a very funny & entertaining book. His narration is witty and engaging, and his friends are all hilarious. Overall a very well-written fast-paced book.

Welcome to Law of Jiluk – Jiluk is the ultimate redemption, the concluding part of the bestselling Jiluk series.By the way, what is Jiluk?
The quest ends..."

Review:
Law of Jiluk 3 is the final book in the trilogy,  it deals with the teenage period particularly in the early 2000s. This book is another nostalgic journey, capturing his experiences, from innocent crushes to the pain of farewells. Reading this series gives me a pleasure of growing up with the protagonist, as he deals with the ups and downs in his life.

Not only Inba, his friends also face the complexities of their love, and get to know that growing up older has its own consequences.

The third book picks up where the second left us, diving deep into emotions and showing us the characters personal growth. Explores the part of love at young age, innocence, fear of rejection and hoping for a better future. I really loved the way the author potrays his friendship with the guys. With each book, their friendship deepens. Another refreshing and nostalgic read.

About The Author :

The author neither has a big brand of IIM or IIT backing him nor is he a well-known personality with credible achievements in film, theatre, music, sports, culture, and bureaucracy or in corporate India. He never has visited a foreign land nor does he have an overseas work experience of any kind. His blog has never been ranked among the top 100 blogs in the country owing to the simple fact that he doesn't blog.

And one important thing, his earlier novels were not blockbuster hits or runaway bestsellers as this one being only his debut novel. His work has never been published in the past by any leading publisher (including the imprints) or has been represented by any agent before.

He doesn't work with a national newspaper or a leading national magazine or lifestyle magazine as a full time employee or as a regular features contributor one or the other. He neither has won any literary award nor holds some kind of PhD in creative writing either. He is just a small town boy with a very big dream of becoming a storyteller someday
