Matt
Yeah, that’s me. The Boy Scout. The tech nerd. The dependable one. But what people forget is that I’m the master at keeping secrets. And this time, I’m keeping one of my own. A secret so big that it can burn my world to the ground.

Can I keep it from touching those closest to me? Can I keep it from touching her? The fiery red head whose phone call I never should have received. She needed my help and like the good Boy Scout I am, I rushed to help her. Now she’s under my skin and falling for her was never a part of my plan. Pushing her away is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But it’s for her own good. Can I keep the flames away? Or is she just the gasoline?

Jessica
It wasn’t him who was supposed to answer. The call was intended for someone else. But I needed help, and he was there for me. He helped clean up my mess and kept my secret too. But this isn’t the only secret I have. I have another one. One so big that can burn my world to the ground.

Matthias Shields is the kindest and most gentle man I’ve ever known. Falling for him was so easy. But now he’s MIA and I won’t stop until I find him. Even if I have to enter a world where I never wanted to be. Once I am there, will I be able to keep him from finding out the truth? Or will we burn together?

Review:

From the very first page, I was completely captivated by this story. The story is clever, engaging, sharp and sexy. This book has all the components that will stick with you for a while. I definitely will be suffering with a book hangover on this series when done.

There's undeniable chemistry between both Matt and Jessica. I love Matt ~ tall, broody, blue eyed with a dangerous aura. Also the female lead who's strong enough to protect herself from anything. She's fierce and loyal.

This book has engaging and thought-provoking secondaries. I found myself more intrigued by the secondary characters and what was going on with them than the leads. It adds much color and depth to the main character seeing how they react and feel about other people's problems. That was most certainly accomplished by these secondary characters. I want to learn more about them, too. I'm gonna start the series from book 1 now.

I like that all the intimate scenes are written differently. I love a woman who knows what she wants and who isn't afraid to speak her mind, Jessica proved it right from the start. With the author's commendable writing skill, it creates a sensual story line decorated with addictive characters.

Thanks to Hambright PR for having me on this book tour 💌

The Red Herring

The Red Herring - Book Review Title : The Red Herring Author : Raghu Sarma Pages : 212 The story starts with the murder of Devan Singhal. Later upon investigation, both his mother and father were found to be murdered. Investigations were carried out by DCP Malik and his crew.  DCP Malik and his team try to uncover the truth behind this murder, but every answer reveals a new set of questions. And as secrets and lies are exposed within the close-knit people, the mystery becomes deeper, precisely speaking more darker and more complex, wasn't expecting this kind of story in the start.  The  investigation team in this novel were very engaging, that made this book as un-put-downable. It's like One of those murder mysteries that you're not quite sure about but ends up growing on you very much by the end.  There are a multitude of characters here to keep track of. The book is rich in detail, sometimes a little bit too much. The first thing that struck me about th...
