Blurb:

Four years after Oakley left for Australia, the trial is ready to begin. After coming to the decision that she needs to face her abusers to finally be able to move on, Oakley and her family return to England to give evidence in person.

Oakley's love for Cole never faded, but after four years apart how will Cole react to her being back? Can they put the past behind them in order to get their happy ending?

Opinion:

A gripping novel and a sequel to the book "Silence". In this book, Oakley was struggling to rebuild her life from scratch, and survived a traumatic experience. The horrors of her past continue to haunt her and cause severe anxiety and trust issues. Trying to move forward, Oakley struggles to cope up with everything around her.

Filled with ups and downs, confronting her own fears and vulnerabilities Oakley struggles to find closure. Cole plays a significant role by supporting her mentally and physically, by being there for her throughout her recovery and healing. He offers a safe space to confide in and helps her deal with trauma. He becomes her ally and strength.
